Intercessory prayer, offered person to person, within the boundaries the Church sets for lay prayer ministry.
One-on-one prayer.
A vetted two-person prayer team prays with you by phone or video. You ask for a call, and we call you. Your intention stays between you and them.
Prayer for the isolated and homebound.
For those without a parish within reach: the ill, the elderly, the grieving, and anyone far from a church when the need is greatest.
Communal prayer.
Online gatherings for healing and renewal as the apostolate grows, open to all.
CVP is newly forming and building its first prayer teams now. Ask for a call below, or phone the prayer line, and a member of our team will reach you personally.
Why this cannot wait
Isolation.
Loneliness has become an epidemic. Many people face illness, grief, and spiritual distress with no one to pray with them.
Distance.
Many Catholics live far from a parish, are homebound, or cannot reach a church when the need is greatest.
The digital continent.
The Church has been asked to be present where people already are. Prayer offered through a screen is still prayer, and still encounter.
Formation and safety.
Vetted, trained lay teams, within the Church’s boundaries, so the person in need meets someone prepared to pray with them well.
This is why the apostolate exists, and why it is being built now.
Support the mission
Every prayer session is free, and always will be. Your gift builds the teams and the tools that make it possible.
Training and vetting.
Background checks, formation, and ongoing training for every intercessor.
The connection.
The phone, video, and scheduling tools that bring a prayer team to the person who asked.
Reach.
Outreach to the isolated and homebound, translation, and printed materials for parishes.
