Over the course of a few years now, IMF has responded to specific needs in Papua New Guinea, Jamaica, Nicaragua, Nigeria, and Mexico, by serving as a conduit between needs and resources and providing hope through well-designed programs and projects. IMF has a profound effect in the lives of the poorest of the poor in developing nations by addressing the primary barriers that other international aid efforts encounter through:
It is in this spirit of collaboration that IMF partnered with the Catholic Diocese of Illorin in its mission of serving the suffering Christ in the poor. In 2020, IMF completed major renovations of its dilapidated and almost non-existent mission hospital (CAROSI- built and managed by the Irish missionary Sisters in the 1960s) in Osi town which is about 2 hours away from the Chancery. Osi and the neighboring communities situated in three local governments areas have a population of over one million people consisting of eighteen Catholic parishes and mission churches, one seminary, and over twelve Catholic schools. The renovations made by IMF will help the Illorin diocese serve these communities as a haven of health, hope, and dignity to children, pregnant mothers, and the elderly who are the most vulnerable people in the society.
In 2020, IMF partnered with the Catholic Diocese of Illorin in the Osi town of Nigeria to help renovate and equip its dilapidated and almost non-existent mission hospital, CAROSI. Because of the generosity of our benefactors, CAROSI has undergone an incredible transformation. See for yourself!
Today amid so much darkness we need to see the light of hope and to be men and women who bring hope to others. …….to protect every man and every woman, to look upon them with tenderness and love, is to open up a horizon of hope, it is to let a shaft of light break through the heavy clouds.
