IMF internship programs are for young adults with a strong faith and love for Jesus, a willingness to learn, and a desire to spread the Gospel to others, especially to the less privileged in society. Applicants should either be current college/university students or recently graduated.
Interns works on a variety of levels to advance the mission of IMF, which is to be an extension of God’s hands in restoring health, hope and dignity to the less privileged in the countries of the Third World.
Finally, and most importantly, interns have the opportunity to go on mission trips for free, to qualify for monthly stipends depending on IMF budget, to learn valuable leadership skills that will boost their résumé, and to have a wonderful opportunity to change lives — one person at a time.
The program is generally part-time, with a typical intern working 16-24 hours per week (2-3 days per week). A monthly stipend is potentially available based on IMF’s finances. We are a non-profit organization and all our support comes from generous individuals and organizations. Fundraising for IMF mission trips is also an option that can be discussed. An applying intern should have the disposition of a missionary at heart.
The length of the internship can vary from 3-9 months (1-3 semesters). Start and end dates are tailored to a typical college schedule. The applicant’s availability and interest, in terms of the length of the internship, should be stated on the intern application form.
If you would like to apply for an IMF internship, please fill out the Intern Application Form. The deadlines are: February 10th, 2023 (summer), May 12th, 2023 (fall), and September 15th, 2023 (spring).
